The Verder Scientific Division of the Verder Group is setting standards in high-tech scientific equipment for quality control, research and development. The fields of activity cover sample preparation of solids and analyzing technology.
 
The five companies of the division manufacture and supply laboratory instruments for sample preparation through disintegration and homogenization, for heat treatment (physical and material stress tests), for analyzing samples through particle characterization and for combustion/elemental analysis.
 
The Verder Scientific Division unites the five leading manufacturing companies Carbolite, Eltra, Endecotts, Retsch and REetsch Technology.
 
While Retsch and Retsch Technology have been part of Verder Group for many years, Endecotts joined the Scientific Division in 2010, and Eltra as well as Carbolite in 2012, providing a perfect match to the laboratory and analytical product portfolio.

ATM- Advanced Materialography

ATM is a technology leader in the development and construction of machines for materialography (metallography). ATM equipment is successfully used in areas like quality control, damage analysis, productio control as well as research and development.

The measuring range of Retsch Technology’s particle sizers spans from 0.3 nm to 30 mm. Determining and maintaining these properties plays an essential role in production, research and quality assurance.
